PARENT TIME

No parents are perfect. All parents want to learn and continue to grow.  During Parent Time workshops, moms and dads meet other parents, share stories, and learn from similar experiences. With workshops led by a professional counselor and discussion topics set by parents, members of your group will bond over shared challenges and learn to work together to become the best parents possible.

PACT TIME

There’s no shortcut. And that’s okay. We know it’s hard to find time with your children away from work, distractions, and all the other things going on. That’s why our Parent and Child Together (PACT) Time focuses on providing shared moments to reclaim or reinforce that special bond between parent and child that requires the ultimate sacrifice: hours, minutes, and seconds — together.

FAMILY SERVICE LEARNING

We focus on relationship. Parenting starts at home and shows up in the community. By building strong networks of parents and families, Family Service Learning empowers parents to identify and address issues in their larger community. Parents create and lead projects, find support through community partnerships, and weave a stronger social fabric with the reinforced thread of their parent-child relationships.

Volunteer Opportunities

Your time and compassion makes a difference.

We are always accepting help from individuals seeking to better their community. And with our diverse set of experiences and skills, from hands-on community work to professional office roles, volunteers are sure to find a good fit where they’ll be part of the team.

Literacy for All Ages

When children start reading early, they’re set on a track for lifelong educational success and empowerment. But it’s not just about books — early reading includes all of a child’s experiences related to conversation, stories, and books. That’s why our early childcare programs immerse kids in an environment that develops their brain in multiple ways.

Parents are our First Teachers

Did you know that the greatest amount of brain growth occurs between birth and age 5, and that by age 3, roughly 85% of the brain’s core structure is formed? That’s why we work to get parents and children learning together, with educational games and classroom activities, so kids are ready to continue, not begin, their journey of learning on the first day of kindergarten.

Parents Building Community

We believe that strong family-to-family networks can transform a community. All of our programs provide safe, nurturing environments for parents to get to know each other, in hopes of weaving a stronger social fabric. Our Family Service Learning program encourages parents to use their relationships to start projects in their community.
